TLC: Watchful waiting. Usually this is a viral illness that clears on its own. We recommend not giving otc cold medicine to babies and kids. You can try saline nose drops with a bulb suction to get the goo out of his nose. Consider seeing your pediatrician if he looks too uncomfortable. You can continue breast feeding if you are up to it. Limit your intake of cold meds, though. To none.
