Serum eye drops: Serum eye drops can be effective for refractory severe dry eye. Most patients do not need this treatment option though since their dry eye can be controlled with standard therapies.

Very Effective: I have used serum eye drops for dry eyes on my dog with great efficacy; however, restasis(cyclosporine) is probably equally effective & available by prescription from your doctor.
