Medications: If you are not allergic, you should be able to take both meds. Singulair (montelukast) is for asthma or allergies. Ibuprofen is an anti-inflammatory.

Ibuprofen and alcoho: Since both alcohol and Ibuprofen (and all nsaids ie aleve, (naproxen) advil and other prescription products) irritate the stomach there is a big worry for gastritis and ulcers. Ibuprofen also thins the blood and you may be on Aspirin which also can complicate this too.

Other alternatives: Sounds like you have dysmenorrhea. Just painful periods. You can take Ibuprofen 800 mg every 6 hours starting 24 hours before your period. Naproxen 500 mg every 8 hours also helps. Depending on your age oral contraceptive pills can lighten the period and ease the pain. Also, the Mirena (levonorgestrel) iud can lessen the period and the pain. Talk with your doctor.

What happens if you take 8 200 mg ibuprofin?

Depends: The answer depends on how long you've been doing this. The maximum dose at any one time is 800 mg with a max of 2400 mg in a day. If you have been taking 1600 mg (eight 200 mg) for awhile, then you risk things like kidney damage or stomach ulcers, perhaps. If you did it once, it is possible that your body may have processed it fine, but if concerned, would recommend seeing your medical provider.
