BAD: You may also try a nearby medical school with a psychiatry residency, for a sliding scale fee to get evaluated, most counties , at least in california, have mental health services for uninsured. They would assess your need and ability to pay. Then they may refer you to county treatment or community providers who accept fees you can handle.
