Water best: Water is best for hydrating. Anything with caffeine dehydrates you so won't help constipation. But if herbal teas help you take in more fluids that is good. Some people like smooth move tea for constipation. Be sure you are drinking at least 8 cups of water or tea a day. Avoid coffee caffiene and soda. See your doctor for impaction.

Tea can tighten: Tea is liquid-that can be good for constipation, but contains tannins which can aggravate it. Miralax (polyethylene glycol) is a laxative, tasteless, can be in most liquids. Mix up what you are taking, add some variety, but plain water with MiraLAX (polyethylene glycol) works fine.
