How old is she?: At this point you need to decide if this is what she would have wanted. Are the doctors doing things to are and not for her? Family/md discussions need to be performed asap.

Talk to her docs: End-stage heart disease commonly refers to having a very weak heart or very bad arteries, could also mean meds are no longer working, symptoms are uncontrollable, and prognosis is poor (time is short). In this situation utilizing life support might help as a bridge to possible surgery, etc., otherwise uncertain as to benefit as may only prolong dying process. Talk to her doctors about her wishes.
