Is it possible to get my prominent ears pinned back?

Yes: This is called an otoplasty and is a very common and relatively easy procedure to have done. In surgery we make a small incision behind your ear, and reshape and reposition the cartilage. There is a quick recovery and very little discomfort.

Otoplasty: Otoplasty is an excellent surgical treatment for a number of ear deformities. An otoplasty can be useful to correct issues like a prominent ear where the entire ear is pushed forward or a cup ear deformity where there is a lack of one of the normal ear folds. All of the incisions and sutures are hidden behind the ear. Consult a facial plastic surgeon for a consultation.

An Otoplasty: Yes, reshaping the ears is termed an otoplasty. The ear cartilage is reshaped and contoured to set them closer to the sides of the head and the flat portions of the ear are curved and contoured to yield a natural looking appearance. www.artofplasticsurgery.com.
