Uncertain: There have been a few large population studies that seem to associate large amounts of carbonated beverages, including diet sodas, with a greater likelihood of arteriosclerosis and heart attack or other vascular problems, but this is a relatively small effect. Lots of caffeine isnt good for you, impairs sleep, makes people anxious. There is nothing wrong with water - cut the soda gradually back.
