There is a chance: Besides total abstinence, no other birth-control method is 100%. Tuboligation is very effective, but again, not 100%. If you have been sexually active and u are having symptoms of possible pregnancy, i would recommend doing a home pregnancy test which is easy to do and highly accurate. If persistent problem, consult doc. Good luck.

Maybe pregnant but..: It's wise to remember that every method of birth control has a failure rate, even tubal ligation which is about 1-2% lifetime. So first thing do a pregnancy test. If negative, there are many hormonal disruptions that account for the occasionally late period. Suggest you speak to your doctor (immediately if preg test + as risk of tubal pregnancy increased after tubal ligation).
