Inguinal hernia?: Pain in the groin is concerning for an inguinal hernia. However, it can also be a pulled muscle ("groin pull, " see image) or other similarly-innocuous things. Definitely worth seeing your doc for this.

Get an eval: Groin pain can range from lymph node issues to musculoskeletal. You need to have a full eval- history and physical, by a physician to determine the etiology. Possibilities include but not limited to infection, strain, fracture, arthritis and even cancer. You will likely need imaging. Please get seen. Good luck.
