Occasionally: Doxycycline is a useful antibiotic, but as with all medications, there are possible side effects. Every drug or supplement has some small risks, so a user has to weigh the benefits against the small chance of an allergic reaction or some other problem. Doxycycline is often used to treat acne in teen boys. Users can sunburn more easily. "doxy" is not used in younger kids nor in pregnant women.

Doxycycline side efx: ommon side effects of doxycycline can include: loss of appetite, nausea and vomiting, diarrhea, rash/hives, sun sensitivity-temporary discoloring of adult teeth (goes away with dental cleaning after the drug is stopped) If these effects are mild, they may go away within a few days or a couple of weeks. If they’re more severe or don’t go away, talk to your doct or pharmacist. No drowsiness.
