A member asked:

I have cubital tunnel syndrome. i can't get into see the dr before xmas so am wondering how best to help myself. it's worse at night. ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Keep elbow straight: The ulnar nerve runs through this tunnel and when bent, it squeezes on the nerve causing your pain/tingling down to your hand/fingers (more 4th+5th fingers). Thus, keeping your elbow straight and avoid resting the back/inside of elbow on bed/couch/chair. Wearing elbow sleeve may help. Otc motrin/aleve and maybe vitaminb6 can help with pain/numbness. Good luck.
