A member asked:

Can i drive myself to and from a chemotherapy appointment?

No.: In general, no. Many times the medicines that are given to prevent allergic reactions like Benadryl (diphenhydramine) can make you drowsy and people may feel ill following chemotherapy if the anti-nausea medicines wear off. Obviously, there is no problem driving in, it is the drive home that is bad.

Feelings: If you feel well enough to drive you may. If you feel physically or mentally impaired you should obtain transportation.
