Why does women have orgasms?

Why not?: People have wondered this for ages. The pleasure part of orgasm does not seem to serve any purpose and seems unique to the human race.

Fertility: Uterine contractions aid the passage of sperm into the uterus where they can fertilize ovum.

Evolutn advantage!: Aside: that same question can be asked for men...Anyhow, since pregnancy and childbearing is quite painful at times and energy consuming, people that experience orgasm will likely want to experience the same euphoric sensation again despite the perils of childbearing. Compare this to people who never have an orgasm while having sexual intercourse. This confers an evolutionary advantage.
