A member asked:

How likely is the infertility factor with my husband?

3 doctors weighed in across 2 answers

40-50%: 40-50% of the time there is male factor such as low count, or low motility, or an increase in abnormal shapes. A semen analysis with critical morphology should be ordered very early in a couples evaluation. A urologist should be considered to help with male infertility treatment.

40-60%: It is estimated that 40% of infertility is male, 40% female and 20% both. As you get older, it is even more likely to be female in origin.
