Erythema multiforme: No but it may be caused by soemthing that is such as hsv.

No: Erythema multiforme (em) is an allergic reaction of your skin. Most commonly it is a result of an allergic reaction to a medication that you took. However, a few cases are caused by an infection like strep throat. But the actual rash of em is not contagious.

No.: No. Erthema multiforme is a type of hypersensitive reaction which occurs in response to infections, medications and other causes. It is not contagious. If precipitated by herpes or another infection the herpes is contagious but the erythema multiforme is not.
