Possibly: Antibiotics alter your bowel flora, the microorganisms in your bowel flora are highly metabolically active. They produce and/ or promote the production (or excretion) of many other substances. It is entirely possible that a change in your bowel flora could upregulate (or downregulate) your hormone detoxification pathways and alter your hormone levels and cause a change in your menstrual cycle.
