Six months ?: Six months is a very, very long time to be ill. This type of problem can throw your entire digestive system off and can dehydrate you. Take yourself and your son to see a physician immediately.

See a physician: It appears you both have some viral or bacterial infection. Diarrhea for six months is not normal see a physician immediately.
