Blood Pressure Med: Blood pressure medicine from the family of medications called ace inhibitors. Acts on an enzyme in the lung and kidney to decrease blood pressure. Usually taken once daily. Can have a protective effect on the kidneys in high blood pressure and diabetes. Not recommended for patients with significant kidney failure.
