Pregnancy weeks: The number of average total weeks from last period is 40 weeks to due date. If someone conceives 2 weeks after menstrual period that means she will conceive about 38 weeks later. The standard when stating how pregnant you are is determined from the last menstrual period however. Example : if you conceived 8 weeks ago you would be called 10 weeks pregnant.
