Pudendal neuralgia: Often when a nerve is damaged, meds (neurontin, lyrica) can be tried to see if they help the symptoms. If meds do not relieve the symptoms, a pudendal nerve block can be tried. If this doesn't work, you should be worked up for interstitial cystitis.
