Keep out of reach: Check your smoke detector batteries. Put plastic covers in unused electrical outlets. Keep hot appliances and cords out of reach. Keep all electrical appliances out of the bathroom. Use the back burners on the stove with the pan handles out of reach. Turn your water heater down to 120°f (50°c). Try to keep your baby out of direct sunlight. Use sunblock on exposed areas.

Protection infants: You can prevent accidental injuries from burns and fire, by keeping distance from fires, smoking, fireplaces and hot surfaces: i.e. kitchen oven, cooktop, hot items cooked, hair dryers and other hot surfaces.
