What is the definition or description of: thought disorder?

Psychotic Disorder: Thought disorder synonymous with psychotic disorders. Psychotic disorders include, but are not limited to, schizophrenia, schizophreniform disorder, brief psychotic disorders, schizoaffective disorder, delusional disorder, etc. Disorders of thought can manifest as disruptions in flow (eg thought blocking, loosened associations, etc) &/or content (eg delusions). Hallucinations can also occur.
