Viral exanthem?: Fever with a rash usually indicates an infection. Description of rash on the body can vary. Flat lesions (macule), palpable rash (papules), one with clear fluid (vesicles), rash with pus (pustules), rash with scales (scaly), darker rashe (hyperchromic), and rash with absent color (hypochromic) are the usual description of rash. Rashes caused by chicken pox, measles, german measles, etc. Vary.

Temp and red...: Fever= elevated body temperature rash: usually red, possibly itchy patch, may have vesicles or blister or "weep" fluid. Can be raised or flat; many, many presentations. A fever can and often does precipitate a rash.
