Get test for herpes: Some "bumps" will resolve on their own, and it may be a coincidence they are getting better while taking valtrex (valacyclovir). That being said, you should definitely get tested for the herpes virus, so that you will be able to inform future partners. The viral culture is not very sensitive, so i recommend that you ask for the blood test as well.
