Zoster n the Young: A healthy young person can get shingles. It is more commonly seen in the elderly or in individuals with immunocompromised patients. The notion that a young healthy person cannot get shingles is false. That ave being said, when shingles is seen in this population, the your doctor will ask you a few questions which will help him or her decide if blood tests are necessary.
