A member asked:

Is terconazole safe to use during 2nd trimester of pregnancy? it's labeled in category c, which scares me.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably: I'm sorry I can't be more definite, but the second trimester is a relatively safe time to take any medication and there a no known issue with this class of medication. Category C simply means there is very little information available, either good or bad. If you have a proven yeast infection and symptoms are severe, it is a reasonable medication.
