Skin infection: If you have a skin infection that is spreading around your face and shoulder, you should go to your doctor to get the infection cultured. Once a culture is obtained you doctor may start you on an antibiotic. When the culture report returns your doctor can keep you on the antibiotic or change it to a different one depending on the results of the culture.
