Rice and grains: Yes white rice and all processed grains/pasta can have an effect on your bowels secondary to gluten intolerance. Gluten is in rice, corn, wheat, grains, & more, which isn't something our stomachs are able to break down and digest resulting in damage to our guts. This alters bowel movements, digestion, nutrient absorption and even results in many ailments we experience. Research gluten & leaky gut.
