Chlamydia can B oral: It's possible 2 get chlamydia, gonorrhea & other stds in the mouth. Tonsillitis can b caused by infections other than chlamydia or gonorrhea, such as strep. Condoms should b used 4 oral sex, vaginal or anal 2 reduce the risk of stds. Testing 4 an std in the throat requires a swab unlike chlamydia/gonorrhea testing of the genitals which can be done via urine testing thru www.Sexualhealth.Com.

They are different: Tonsillitis is inflammation of the tonsils and can be caused by many different things. Chlamydia is a specific micro-organism that can involve the oral cavity including the tonsils.
