Salt water soaks: First try salt water soaks. Take a teaspoon of table salt and add it to a pint of warm tap water. Mix it up and then soak a wash cloth and then place the wash cloth on the boil for 5 min. Do this two times a day. If it gets very red or warm to touch, you may have to see your dr to have it drained and start antibiotics.

Boil: A boil draining pus can be a sign of a staph infection. If you have not seen a doctor, you should. The lesion may require drainage or possibly antibiotics. Washing with an antibacterial soap and applying hot compresses to the lesion may help until you can be seen.
