BBT?: Some women check their BBT (basal body temperature) to see when they are ovulating. A urine pregnancy test gives a reliable result if done correctly and read correctly, 3 weeks after sex. If the test is done sooner, a positive is exciting, but a negative may be a false negative. Being patient and testing at 3 weeks after sex is fine. Repeat the test 1 week later, if it the result was negative.
