Take Dad to a doctor: A person concerned about his father's nighttime urination in the closet should take dad to see a primary care doctor and a urologist. Possible issues include: does dad get a full bladder several times at night due to blockage; is the blockage a big prostate or prostate cancer; does dad have some dementia and doesn't know where the toilet is; plus what other medical conditions going on?

Your father needs : a medical evaluation. He could have a sleep disorder. Is he a heavy drinker? Does he have prostate problems? Is he normally a sleep walker? How old is he? Any dementia? Sun downing? Does he use the toilet right before bed? If you are asking about putting a clothes pin on his penis - that would be a dangerous idea. Bottom line is that an evaluation is warranted. Good luck with this.
