Depends: Labor induction depends alot on the exact situation. If your doctor felt that the risks of continuing the pregnancy outweigh the risks of induction then an induction is the way to go. In general inductions lead to longer labors with higher C-section risks. That depends on the starting cervical dilation though. Again if there is a complication then for baby's safety induction is often needed.
