ABSOLUTELY NOT !!!!!: I have done over 5000 deliveries and a recent study shows that the ideal time to deliver is 39-40 weeks. Once u go past your due datethe baby has more a chance to end up in special care nursery or worse and the baby couldhave been out. In fact I do not let any of my pts go past their due date cause I have seen everything bad happen ( in other people's pts) indcution done properly is safeanditworks.
