A member asked:

What approx is the level of hcg by the time a woman misses her period? 50, 100?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Rough estimate: A pregnancy, not necessarily a fetus, can be seen on ultrasound at a bhcg of roughly 1800 which is when you've skipped your period by about a week. It goes up about 75 % every 48 hours, roughly. There is no certainty but i would say around 300-800. It doubles quickly and increases expotentially.
