My son is 6 weeks old with ger and congestion for 6 weeks now. zantac, (ranitidine) saline drops , humidifier and sit upright doesn't help. anything else i can do?

Yes: We sometimes see ger with a milk protein allergy. If you are breast feeding, a restriction diet (and these are tough) may help. You can find info for this on the web. If you are formula feeding, changing to what are called hypoallergenic formulas (nutramigen, alimentum) may help. If this doesn't help, then using a medication that blocks even more acid may. Consult your physician.
