Two are different: Sciatica is due to compression of nerve roots forming the sciatic nerve, pain is in buttocks, lower back, leg and foot, it can have muscle weakness, tingling and numbness all on one side. Where as fibromyalgia is a generalized pain all over the body with sensitivity to pressure and is a neuropsychiatric disorder associated with fatigue, anxiety, cognitive changes, bowel and bladder changes.

No: If you have sciatica, your fibromyalgia is not the number one problem. However just because you may have fibromyalgia does not mean you can't get sciatica. The sciatica is coming from your back.

Yes: Similarity of Fibromyalgia, FM, & sciatica. Sciatica is name of pain pattern aroused by several disorders, including FM. One common denominator of FM is pelvic ligament injury. Pelvic girdle instability is a common primary cause of unilateral sciatica. Sciatica is commonly found in FM sufferers. "Headwaters" nerves of sciatic nerve cross ventral sacroiliac joints sulci & are impinged thereat.
