Not a good idea: The best way to treat a UTI (we usually refer to these as acute cyctitis), is to obtain a urine analysis, (sometimes a culture to see which bacteria will grow) and treat with a urinary antibiotic. Otc stuff is usually ineffective and could be dangerous.
