Appreciative of, responsive to, or zealous about the beautiful; also : responsive to or appreciative of what is pleasurable to the senses.

Cosmetic medicine: Aesthetic medicine is a huge field which encompasses the treatment of problems that influence appearance. Typically surgical and non-surgical interventions are used to improve appearance in aesthetic medicine.

Improvement of skin: Aesthetics is usually thought to be a branch of cosmetic medicine involved in helping to enhance the health and appearance of the skin. This is accomplished by many topical creams, serums, treatments and skin peels. In many practices, lasers are an integral part of the aesthetics program.
