Kidney failure treat: One of the options for treatment of end stage kidney disease, the other options are hemodialysis and kidney transplantation. In peritoneal dialysis a tube is placed surgically in the belly. One end is in the peritoneal cavity and the other end is outside. Dialysis fluid is placed in the peritoneal cavity through the tube. The peritoneum acts as a filter, and drained out of the cavity.
