Maybe: If there was large accumulation of blood and swelling at the insertion site the implant may not function normally- it maybe surrounded with blood instead of normal tissue. In this case it should be removed and replaced with another in the other arm.

I had implanon inserted in October 2018. Ever since insertion, Ive had non-stop bleeding . I use the pill to stop the bleeding, but as soon as I stop taking the pill-the bleeding returns . Should I just remove the implanon?
