A member asked:

During implanon insertion, dr hit basilic vein and nerve. its impalpable, should it be removed?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Maybe: If there was large accumulation of blood and swelling at the insertion site the implant may not function normally- it maybe surrounded with blood instead of normal tissue. In this case it should be removed and replaced with another in the other arm.
