Maybe nothing!: Monthly periods may vary from many things, such as a change in sleep patterns, increased stress, new levels of exercise, etc. Even in someone with very regular periods, flow cycles may vary from time to time. Of course, if you suspect you may be pregnant, urine pregnancy tests can detect rising HCG levels in as early as 3-4 days (though it usually takes a few days or a week more to be sure).
