A member asked:

What should i do if my 10 months baby will only take a bottle when sleeping?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Break the habit: The kid is old enough to try a sippy cup or use a straw for feeds. If s/he wants a bottle, put water in it until the kid rejects it, but thirst will drive consumption of at least a minimal amount. I find it better to teach a kid to eat first thing as they wake up, so the bottle doesn't become a security friend while trying to sleep.
