See Your Doc: Mrsa is a serious bacterial infection & if you truly believe you have this, see your doc for proper evaluation & treatment. Cold sores rarely get secondarily infected but better safe than sorry. If red, swollen, painful or with purulent discharge or crusty yellow discharge, seek treatment. Good luck.
