Butenafine HCl: Butenafine hydrochloride is a synthetic antifungal, marketed under the trade name mentax. It is also the main ingredient in the otc medicine lotrimin (clotrimazole) ultra. It has been used to treat yeast infections of the skin and like most topical anti-fungals it is safe to try.
