You need to : Visit a podiatrist. It does not sound like you are taking good care of your feet. Since, i prefer that you keep your feet, i strongly suggest you visit a podiatrist for diabetic foot care and education.

Dry skin: Is a sign of an autonomic neuropathy. In fact, there is a study that shows the #1 factor in developing diabetic foot ulcers is dry, cracked skin. You need to pay much more attention to your feet as a diabetic. Don't screw around! in diabetes and feet, it's what doesn't hurt you that you should worry about.
