No: Atelectasis is a benign collapse of segments of your lungs that can be resolved with deep breathing and use of an incentive spirometer.. It would not be associated in any way with the intestinal symptoms you are experiencing. Ayour GI symptoms sound like colitis or a colonic infection. You should see your doctor and have blood and stool studies to find the cause.
