Gotten outside hosp: Community aquired pneumnonia is a term used by doctors to decribe pneumonia in those who have not been in a hospital recently. Patients in the hospital are exposed and pick up germs, and can get pneumonia with bacteria that do not typically cause pneumonia in others. Cap is a pneumonia that can be aquired by anyone. Symptoms are similar, the bacteria responsible & thus antibiotic selection differs.
