Is there any restrictions after a spinal tap procedure?

Yes: To avoid a post-lp headache, recommend pts try to be supine or recumbent for about 24 hrs, and advise extra liquids in form of fruit juices to stabilize fluids. Otherwise resume activities thereafter. If the headache does occur, a blood patch is very successful.

Lumbar puncture: Rest worth while. Increase water to replenish spinal fluid. Headaches common when upright if occurs worth while to contact physician. Rarely can develop leak.

Yes: I would recommend decreased activity and try to lay flat for a few hours if possible. Hydration is key to helping prevent headaches from sitting up and having a slow leak of spinal fluid. Fortunately, the needle to do a spinal tap is very thin, so leak usually close on their own. Sometimes caffeine can help if you do develop a mild headache afterwards.
